Louvre Roof Costs And Designs

Louvre roof per square meter costs can vary from company to company, size of project (on smaller roofs the square meter rate goes up because of fixed costs such as motors, permits ect) and design (if rendering, Alucobond in design ect costs go up) but in general they start around $1,500 - $2,500 per square meter including plans and permits.

When a client normally contacts me regarding a 3D design for an Alfresco area and it involves a louvre roof, I try to give them a rough idea on the costs on my first FREE consultation, as it can end up an expensive project no matter what Louvre company or design it is.

If the cost is over budget we then normally look at other options from making the Louvre section smaller or sometimes using another product such as an Insulated roof to still achieve a great outcome.

I recommend using an Aluminium blade as in my opinion they look more attractive (more colour options available ect)and can achieve greater spans, and also a system that rotates fully to give you more control over the sun.

The major players in the Louvre Roof Industry are:

Louvretec (Aluminium blade) SEE HERE

Louvre Roofs Australia (Aluminium blade) SEE HERE (who I freelance for)

Vergola (Colorbond blade) SEE HERE
